Admissions
We adhere to the Cornwall Council Admissions Policy as to when children start school. Children begin school in the academic year in which they turn 5. If a parent feels that entering education at this time is not appropriate to their child, they do have the option of deferring their admission until they are of compulsory school age (i.e the term after they are 5 years old), by writing to the headteacher.
For parents moving to the area who wish their children to start the school need to contact Cornwall Council’s Admissions and Transport team on 0300 1234 101. For parents moving to the County you must submit an application form directly to your own local authority who will refer it to Cornwall Council.
