First Access - Whole Class Instrument Teaching
First Access is one of the key initiatives of the government’s original National Plan for Music Education, published in 2012. The aim of First Access is to introduce students at Key Stages 1 – 3 to learning an instrument through weekly whole class instrumental lessons.
Peripatetic Music Lessons
At Callington Primary, we offer a wide range of instrumental learning as well as First access in years 1, 3 and 6.
They have the opportunities to play:
- drums
- violins
- guitar
- singing
- piano
